
Tier 1 and above require you to level up the planet, which requires importing resources from other planets (you can level up to level 5). Each planet has a resource, there are basic resources and Tier 1 2 and 3 resources. Then the planet management, which at first I didn't like but once you figure out is great. To be honest it doesn't compare to any other 4x game and that's what I like.īasically you can choose between a wide range of races each with different bonus/traits, and some of them with outright different mechanics (for example the plant-like Oko must build their ships differently, and make use of the game resources in a different way, others don't use planets I believe) and different FTL technologies/mechanics (fling beacons, wormholes, hyperdrive, etc).

Well I have been playing it a lot, and I like it a lot (so I might be biased, still the price is practically a steal).
